What Mastery Means to Me

Mastery begins Within

Mastery isn’t something I set out to achieve—it’s something I’ve come to understand through lived experience, deep healing, and a commitment to walking a path guided by my Soul.

For me, Mastery is not about status or superiority. It’s a quiet unfolding. A sacred responsibility. A way of being that arises when we choose to live in alignment with love, again and again.

My Journey into Mastery

I didn’t set out to become a Master Healer. I simply followed the quiet nudges of my heart—or was it a sledgehammer?!

When Shane and I arrived in Mandurah, Western Australia—after seven incredible years travelling and working around Australia in our caravan—I found myself renovating our investment home while Shane returned to work. For the first time in my life, I struggled to find a job. It felt strange and unsettling, so I asked my guides, “Why can’t I get a job?” Their response was clear:
“You’re not meant to.”

So I asked, “What am I meant to be doing?”
And they gently revealed that I was here to create energy healing programs.

I was flooded with doubt—how could I possibly do that? But my guides reassured me they would walk beside me, guiding each step. They also shared something deeply important:
This work must be accessible to the hard-of-hearing community.

That message stirred something profound in me. Yet I wrestled with fear, self-worth, and the belief that they’d chosen the wrong person. But of course, learning to overcome those doubts and own your value is part of the Mastery journey.

My guides often throw me in the deep end—so I can learn, grow, and teach from lived experience.

Creating this work became my initiation into Mastery itself.

That initiation unfolded over 14 years. During that time, I listened to every word, followed each step, and trusted my guides (though not without argument—and a million questions on my part!). Eventually, I wrote five books and created 17 visual guided meditations. These became the foundation for the lessons and courses within my programs:
Path to Heart Based Power, Co-Creation at its Best, and Path to Mastery.  

When I first heard the title Path to Mastery, I felt fear—like a fraud.
Who am I to teach Mastery?
Especially when I felt far from being a Master at the time.

To comfort myself, I reframed the word Master to mean Teacher—something I could just about handle. Even then, at the beginning of the Path to Mastery, I had no idea what I was going to teach. That wisdom was yet to be revealed. 

Now, as I begin to share my work more publicly, I’ve reflected deeply on the word Mastery. And I’ve come to understand this:

Masters in Energy Healing don’t have all the answers. We simply hold space, inspire, and guide others to connect with their own Higher Mind—to discover the path that’s uniquely theirs.

And that feels perfect.
Because it reflects the heart of everything I do.
