Choosing harmony regardless of another’s behavior
Do you ever feel as if your emotions could have been handled better? Do you have a tendency towards irritation, fear, anger or retreat at another’s behavior? Acknowledging this is exciting, because recognising that you have a trigger within you is your very first step towards bringing back your heart power.
Celebrate – the new you is about to evolve.
Triggers are ignited because of situations that brought ‘fear’ or ‘anger’ that have occurred in your past.
This is excellent information, because you can now investigate in how to transform these beliefs, habits or traits that no longer serve you, to create a new future.

You have the power to change situations
When you use your Super Conscious (higher self) as a resource to guide you, in having beliefs that support you, confidently practicing healthy boundaries, prioritising self-love and self-care, and have harmony in your heart – you are powerful.
Transforming Beliefs
When I first discovered this understanding, it was easy to find – through the triggers I experienced – what beliefs (which are really just thoughts that I keep thinking) that I needed to change.
I then had the perfect information, to compose the relevant questions to ask my Soul – and listen for the answers – in creating new beliefs that support and empower me instead.
Below are some questions to ask your Soul that may be helpful:
- I’m feeling fear/anger/shame etc. because of the beliefs I’ve been carrying like ….., how can I transform these feelings, what words would be ideal to replace those thoughts with?
- What easy steps can I take to help me in feeling harmony in my heart when I’m triggered the next time?
- The next time I’m in this situation, how can I respond from a higher perspective? What words do I say? What actions do I take?
- What easy self-care and self-love practices can I do today that will support me in feeling harmony in my heart and the strength and courage for when I need it?
- What is my next most important step in loving and caring for myself?
Let’s briefly consider the other person…
Love people for who they are, not who you want them to be
You can’t change another person, however you can inspire them through your example.
You begin to see things from a higher perspective, therefore you can ask the more challenging questions of yourself, however, if they irritate you, that’s another trigger:
- How am I contributing to this turbulence?
- How can I change?
- How can I be better?
- What can I do better?
I ask the last three questions of myself daily.
Affirmation (if this feels good for you to say)
I intend the outcome to unfold for the highest good of everyone involved.
Listen to your body wisdom
If you sense yourself feeling anger, rage, fear or have a judgement or belief of what is right and wrong – recognise you have thoughts that are adding fuel to holding you back.
Every inspirational leader began their journey by listening to their intuition. You can activate this within you too – it’s easy and life changing.
